World No. 2 Rafael Nadal is gunning for his fourth US Open title since 2017, the last time when he lifted the tile. The journey for 18-time Grand Slam champion at this year's US Open has been quite smooth thus far. The Spaniard is also known as generous and is certainly among the nicest players on the circuit. At this year's US Open, he has already won hearts with his off-court moment with a child.

Nadal rescued a trapped child, who was squished between fans waiting for autographs. After seeing a crying child in the chaos, Nadal reached out to him and lifted him out of the crowd. The Spaniard comforted his young fan and wiped off his tears before signing his hat.

Nadal cruised into the fourth round of the event with a 6-3 6-4 6-2 win over Chung Hyeon on Saturday. The 33-year-old was taking on the court after a gap of five days.  He hadn't played since Tuesday when he beat John Millman in straight sets in the opening round. He got a walkover in the second round after Thanasi Kokkinakis withdrew ahead of their encounter. The Australian cited a right shoulder injury.

The Spaniard will be locking horns with Marin Cilic on Monday, who defeated Isner 7-5 3-6 7-6(6) 6-4.
