Virat Kohli, who led Team India into the semis of the World Cup 2019, has retained the numero uno position in the ICC's Test rankings for batsmen. He leads the charts with 922 points, which is nine points ahead of second-placed Kane Williamson from New Zealand. India's Cheteshwar Pujara with 881 points is third on the list.

In the all-rounder's rankings for Tests, Ravindra Jadeja is slotted at number three, behind West Indies' Jason Holder and Shakib Al Hasan from Bangladesh. The only bowlers in the list from India in the top-ten are Ravichandran Ashwin, who is at sixth, and Jadeja, who is ranked tenth.

In the team rankings, Team India are number one, followed by New Zealand, South Africa, England and Australia.

India last played a Test match in January, where they faced Australia Down Under and won the series to create history. They will next face West Indies in August for a two-match Test series.
