Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who recently led his side to the semifinals of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is the only cricketer in the Instagram top-10 'rich list' for sportspersons. He takes the ninth spot in the list worldwide. With no surprises, Cristiano Ronaldo takes the top spot and is followed by Neymar and Lionel Messi.

According to HopperHQ.com, the Indian skipper charges $196,000 for every post and has made him break into the top 10. He currently has over 38 million followers on Instagram alone. He is also the number one ranked batsmen in ODIs and Test cricket.

After the World Cup semifinal loss against New Zealand, Virat Kohli will once again get back on to the field in India's upcoming tour of West Indies starting August 3rd. The side will play three T20Is, three ODIs and 2 Tests in the Carribean.

While many hoped that the skipper and other senior players of the side would skip this tour so that the youngsters might get a chance to experience top flight cricket, the skipper decided against it and wanted to be on tour. According to reports, Virat did not want to stay away from the side at this crucial juncture. The report said, "There were indeed suggestions that he should rest but he decided that his presence would be required for the side. The collective morale of the players is down and he (Virat Kohli) didn't want to stay away at this crucial juncture."
