The Indian cricket team departed for their tour of West Indies on Monday night. The first series after the World Cup 2019 will see a number of young faces, as the side looks to rebuild from the semi-final ouster. 

The tour comprises three T20Is, three ODIs and two Tests, with the series starting off with the shortest format. The first two games, on August 3 and 4, will be held at Florida in USA, before the action shifts to the Windies island. 

Skipper Virat Kohli shared a picture of the team before their departure to Miami. 


In the press conference before the departure, the captain had denied any rifts between himself and Rohit Sharma. He also expressed his views on coach Ravi Shastri's performance, whilst stating that the disappointment of misisng out from the finals of the the World Cup was still affecting the side. 

However, Kohli was eager to move on, and start the new season on a high by winning the series' across formats.
