Romanian cricketer Pavel Florin has become the talk of the town after his bowling action was trolled on Twitter on Tuesday. The player, turning out for Cluj Cricket Club in the European T10 League against Dreux, bowled loopy deliveries and the batters had to wait for an eternity before the ball arrived in the arc. His line and lengths were not accurate as well, which left the cricket community in splits.

Fox cricket shared a video of an over bowled by Florin, with the users commenting that they could bowl better than Florin.

However, the player is not concerned about what is being written about him. He stated that playing in a country where there is no culture of cricket might mean that he is not technically the best, but no one can fault  his passion.

"Maybe someone says my bowling is not beautiful or not effective, but I don't care, because I love cricket. It's not beautiful, I know, everybody says it, but I'm a slow bowler," Florin was quoted as saying by the European Cricket League.

Later it also came to light that the player was bowling with an injured leg, and had driven around 500kms to play the game.

Florin was supported by former cricketers Dimitri Mascarenhas and Shane Warne, who also offered to help the player.

"This is the first born & bred Romanian playing cricket. We should be celebrating this amazing achievement. A lot of hard work by some brilliant people have made this happen. Let's just watch and celebrate this truly awesome tournament," Mascarenhas tweeted.

"Agree 100% ! Cricket is a beautiful game. Well done and congrats to everyone who made this happen. I would love to check this tournament out next year & help out, if you need a helping hand then hit me up ! Congrats again," Warner replied to Mascarenhas's tweet.

The European T10 cricket league has eight teams in two groups, and is being held at the La Manga Club in Spain.
