West Indies opener Chris Gayle on Saturday shared a picture with Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently in the Carribean islands cheering for his side Trinibago Knight Riders in the ongoing Carribean Premier League. SRK owns the Trinbago franchise in the T20 league. 'Universe Boss' took to Instagram to share the picture and captioned it "#40SHADESOFGAYLE September 20th #NUFFRespect"

Gayle, who had earlier announced retirement from international cricket after the ICC World Cup 2019, played for the West Indies side in the recently concluded ODIs against India. He also scored a quick fire 72 runs off 41 balls in the final game of the three-match series against India. After getting out, every Indian player including skipper Virat Kohli went and congratulated the 'Universe Boss' on his glorious career. While many felt that this was the last time that Chris Gayle had turned up for West Indies, he denied such rumors and said, "I didn't announce any retirement. Yeah, I am still with West Indies Cricket until any further notice."

The 39 year old Gayle has represented West Indies in 300 ODIs, 103 Tests and 58 T20Is from 1999. With 10480 runs in ODIs, he is the all-time leading run-scorer for West Indies in the 50 over format. He has also scored over 40 hundreds across all three formats.

Chris Gayle has stopped playing Test cricket to concentrate on the shorter versions of the game and is currently leading the Jamaica Tallawahs in the Carribean Premier League. His side went down against SRK's Trinbago Knight Riders by 22 runs yesterday.
