Indian sports fraternity pays tribute to former finance minister Arun Jaitley who passed away earlier today

Former finance minister Arun Jaitley breathed his last on Sunday morning, and his demise was mourned by various sportsmen in the country. Taking to Twitter to condone the death, various athletes paid their last respects to the deceased leader. 

Jaitley also has a long association with cricket. He was the president of the Delhi and District Cricket Association in the past, with various Delhi players like Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir highlighting Jaitley's influence on their cricketing career. He was also a former IPL Governing Council member.
