India vs West Indies, 2nd T20I Live Score: Rohit's fifty and Krunal's cameo helps India to score 167
Team India managed to score 167 runs in the second T20I after they won the toss and chose to bat first. Rohit was the top-scorer for the Men in Blue, as he made a fine 67.
Team India managed to post a competitive 167/5 on the board in the second match of the T20I series against Windies at Florida. Choosing to bat first on a sluggish track, Team India got off to a flying start as the duo of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan made 67 for the first wicket. Dhawan was out first after he had made 23 in 16 deliveries, but his opening partner Rohit carried on and got a fine fifty.
The duo of Rohit and skipper Virat Kohli combined together to put on 48 runs for the second wicket, before the former was dismissed for 67 in 51 balls. Rishabh Pant too was sent back early for 4, and Manish Pandey followed suit as he was beaten by Sheldon Cottrell with a shorter ball.
Quick wickets had put India on the backfoot, as they slumped to 132 for 4 after being 115 for 1. However, Krunal Pandya played a good hand in the end, scoring 20 in only 13 balls with the help of two sixes. Ravindra Jadeja too hit one six, as India finished close to 170.
The new ball bowlers from Windies Oshane Thomas and Cottrell managed 2 wickets each, while Keemo Paul got the fifth wicket to fall. Windies need 168 to draw level in the series after India had won the first game between the two sides earlier on Saturday.
