Gupta had earlier filed conflict of interest charges against Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman for being Cricket Advisory Committee members as well as for coaching IPL teams Mumba Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively, while Ganguly too had earlier faced the charges, for being the president of CAB as well as for mentoring Delhi Capitals in the IPL this year.
