Fan ensures Ravichandran Ashwin’s wife Prithi Narayanan joins her husband on cruise

Team India have started their World Test Championship campaign in style by crushing West Indies by record-breaking 318 runs in the first test at Antigua.  Ravi Ashwin, who  is currently touring with the side failed to find a spot in the XI, with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja given the preference. 

Jadeja justified his selection with a brilliant half-century in 1st innings saving India from a subpar total. Ashwin last played in Tests for India against Australia in January this year and was then injured. He, in the meantime, played English county cricket and IPL 2019.

Recently, a picture of Team India players emerged on social media, where Ashwin was spotted spending some time on a cruise with KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Virat Kohli, and Kohli’s better-half Anushka Sharma. However, an Ashwin fan found it hard to digest that offie’s wife Prithi wasn’t there on the cruise, and photoshopped her with him. 

Prithi Narayanan had a good laugh at the attempted photoshop effort and jokingly looked angry with the gap between her and Ashwin and quipped, “HAHAHAHA but but but #whythegap ?” 

It looked similar to what Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra had done recently when she photoshopped herself with beau Nick Jonas, who was standing alone at the recent MTV Video Music Awards. 

India will be playing the second Test against West Indies at the Sabina Park ground in Kingston, Jamaica which starts from August 30.
