The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad arrested a 19-year old Assamese man after he threatened to kill the players of the Indian national cricket team on August 16.
The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad arrested a 19-year old Assamese man after he threatened to kill the players of the Indian national cricket team on August 16.
Brij Mohan Das was arrested for sending an email to the BCCI last week, in which he threatened that the lives of the players were at risk. The investigation further revealed that Brij had sent similar mails to other national boards, threatening to kill players from their countries as well.
The Terrorism Squad investigated the threats and found out that the mails had been sent by Brij, a resident of Shantipur in the Morigaon district of Assam. They soon arrested him.
