Qubool Hai: What Mahira – the new protagonist - has been up to in the show?
In the current track of the show, we can see that Mahira (Surbhi Jyoti) has stepped into New Sanam aka Khan Begum’s (Additi Gupta) and is unaware of the bestial tendencies of the witch who lost her powers with Sanam’s death.
Mahira is the hero of the story and her job is to finish the job left incomplete by her look-alike Sanam. However, evil forces are lurking everywhere in the dark corners of Khan Begum’s house to pounce the good-hearted Mahira. We recently saw Mahira giving an inspirational speech to Khan Begum’s daughter Kainat whose right hand is crippled. Mahira’s speech helps Kainat to gain confidence and prepare herself with enthusiasm to meet the prospective suitor due to visit her home. Kainat likes Mahira and asks her to stay by her side when the party arrives.
On the other hand, Khan Begum’s son Azad (Rajbeer Singh) is another weird fellow who hides strange potions in his closet. In the recent episode, he rushes to his mother’s help when he sees her feet decaying due to loss of her powers. In the bid, he ends up hurting Mahira in the head by pushing her away from him. Kainat informs Mahira about a potion in Azad’s room which could heal her wound. However, Mahira holds herself back from venturing into the banned territory.
Apparently, Mahira is a girl who does not fear a bit from speaking the truth and sticking to it. Let’s see how her story unravels in the coming episodes.
