Will Drashti Dhami and Siddhant Karnick Walk Out of 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani'?

Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' has had its share of disappointments. The show did not pick up even though the makers were banking on Drashti Dhami's popularity. However, buzz is that the show will now take a time leap and the story will revolve around new main leads.
It is perhaps for this reason that both Dhami and Siddhant Karnick have decided to quit the show. After an eight-year-leap, the makers are apparently planning to focus on Ranaji (Karnick) and Gayatri’s (Dhami's) children. The two stars who do not wish to appear 'aged' on-screen are therefore calling it quits.
However, there have been no official confirmations from the actors themselves.
