Saurabh Verma’s upcoming comedy flick ‘Meet The Patels’ has witness a new talent in the house and its none other than Kitu Gidwani, who have worked in notable films like Fashion, Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, Dhobi Ghat and ‘Student of the Year’. The lovely lady is all set to play a crazy character in this upcoming comedy flick.

Talking about her new project, the actress really finds this film not just a simple comedy, but also a ‘Loud’, ‘Broad’ ‘Soft’ and ‘Crazy Comedy’ with ‘Laugh a minute’ elements.

While speaking about her role, Kitu said, “I am playing a role of Rita Buaa (Aunt) of Tom Patel and Jerry Patel, my character itself is crazy and also a social activist who spend her life around Tribal, she has sacrificed her whole life for upliftment of these Tribals”.

“She is also very fond of her nephews, Tom and Jerry Patel, she loves them and always there to help them whenever they are in need”, she added.

When actress heard the script, Kitu immediately took up the project as she wanted to do comedy film for a long time and also wanted to show her own comic chops.

Kitu is also having a great rapport with a her co-star Manoj Joshi, whom she finds very ‘delightful’ and also term the young generation actors like Shiv Pandit, Kettan Singh, Shazahn Padamsee and Vaishali Desai as ‘Intelligent’ generation to work with.

Produced by Krian Media, ‘Meet The Patels’ is been directed by Saurabh Verma and it set to release on 24th April, 2014.
