Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi: Ishaani loses her patience and slaps Ritika!
Frankly, we as viewers, are not able to figure out what exactly is Ishaani (Radhika Madan) trying to do by enacting her memory loss drama, getting cozy with RV (Shakti Arora) when she MAY return to Shikhar (Arjun Bijlani) after her mission is accomplished, creating a scene at her brother’s wedding to settle old scores and many more confusing tactics being employed by her. We know that all that she is doing to make Ritika (Smriti Khanna) admit that she has been pregnant with Chirag’s baby, whom she killed; and many other unforgivable crimes committed by her. But, whatever Ishaani is up to these days, we are not convinced that she knows what she is doing; nor do the writers who are scripting the show.
Anyway, for the curious ones, here’s what we saw in the recent episode of the show. At Devarsh and Krisha’s wedding, Ishaani and RV sit down for a special pooja because, as per the vedic rules, only the married couple which has been fasting before the sacred rituals can perform the pooja. RV and Ishaani qualify for the pooja as they had not eaten a morsel since morning due to the tiff involving Ritika at the breakfast table.
The priest asks RV to make Ishaani wear the vermillion and mangalsutra first before commencing the pooja. RV reluctantly complies, while, on the other hand, Ritika arrives to witness the scene. She gets disgusted with her defeat and retires in a corner to whine and grumble. Shikhar joins her to figure out what is going in her head; but Ritika refrains from speaking her mind to Shikhar with the idea of playing safe.
After Ishaani and RV are done with the pooja, they involve with some light PDA. Ishaani catches Ritika drinking at the bar and loses her cool all of a sudden. She remembers how Ritika – the killer of her mother Falguni – is walking freely and decides to expose her no matter what happens. She starts walking towards Ritika with an angry look on her face and hurls a tight slap on her visage. Baa and Shikhar get shocked and worried to see Ishaani ruining their plan by taking the wrong step. On the other hand, RV gets appalled to see Ishaani’s audacity and takes her aside to give a piece of his mind to her. He questions her about her rude behaviour towards Ritika and him, and asks why she has returned to ruin his life.
Ishaani gathers courage to finally speak the truth and asks RV is he would really believe her.
Now, the question is – will RV be convinced with Ishaani’s arguments against Ritika?
