Going for your honeymoon? Here's a list of essentials you need to pack

Honeymoon is a very special trip for every couple. Their first trip together after getting married is one of the most beautiful memories of their lives. This is when the bride and groom get to unwind after the wedding. The stress of the wedding and all the functions and the hectic schedule can take a toll on people and honeymoon is the perfect way for a couple to relax and enjoy each other's company. Honeymoon means that you can do cute and mushy couple things and walk around your honeymoon destination wearing whatever you want along with your chooda! But no bride wants to miss out on some important items while packing. With the wedding stress brides often miss out on some essentials and this is why they need a small list of essential while they pack everything.

1. Lingerie

This is very important for your honeymoon. Pick out some nice lingerie as per your choice and comfort and don't forget to put it in your bag while packing. Buying lingerie if you're going abroad might just turn out be an expensive deal. Moreover, if you end up in a small city in the hills in India, you may not be able to find good quality lingerie.

2. Birth Control

It's normal to mess up but you don't want to miss out on your back up plan. Many countries abroad have laws around emergency contraceptive or a regular oral contraceptive. They also may not have the oral contraceptive that your doctor has you on. So pack your birth control pills and if you're not on birth control pack an emergency contraceptive. Many states in Indian don't sell the standard emergency contraceptive so you may want to be prepared.

3. A special dress

The first day of your honeymoon will mostly start with a special romantic dinner. You don't want to miss out on wearing your special date night outfit. Invest in a nice dress for your romantic date night.

4. BackPack

For when you and your partner want to go out and explore the place you're heading to you may want to pack some stuff while heading out. But you cannot do that if you don't have a small backpack to pack you and your partner's stuff. Pack a small backpack.

5. Sleepwear

You can't sleep in your old comfy clothes like you used to. You now share the bedroom with another person and there's nothing wrong with picking our a nice sleepwear. Pick some comfy satin pajamas or shorts as per your comfort. You can also pack some flannel pajamas as well.

6. Bikini

If you're going to a beachy place for your honeymoon, you may not want to miss out on a bikini. A well fitted and chic bikini is a very important part of your honeymoon essentials.

7. Jacket

Jackets are very important no matter where you're headed. It an important piece of clothing that may come to your rescue at any moment. Though you know your partner will share his jacket with you when you feel the chills but carrying a jacket is great in case you end up wanting to cover up and look chic.
