6 Things you should avoid a week before your wedding
All the brides to be out there, this one's for you. Read on to make a mental note of 6 most important things you should totally AVOID before your special day.
A week before your wedding you will undoubtedly have a mile long ‘To-do’ list, with things you need to check off before your big day. Listen up brides-to-be, you NEED to keep a ‘Don’ts’ list handy as well, to ensure that you look and feel your very best on the D-day. A week before the wedding is usually a time to take care of all those last-minute details. But what about the things to avoid the week before your wedding? From impromptu skin treatments to all-night movie marathons, here’s a quick list of pre-wedding don’ts you need to avoid one week before the wedding day.
New hair colour
Don’t get over ambitious and change your hair colour a week before the wedding day. You never know how the colour could oxidise or how it will look with your skin tone. If you want to refresh your hue without endangering your look, ask your stylist to put a clear gloss on your strands. This will add a lot of shine and sheen. Now, if you go bad-ass and get mixed up with some bad colour before the big day, you can always recolour it immediately — as long as there weren't high levels of bleach involved in the process.

No new hair colour
Alcohol
Alcohol contains a ton loads of calories and may want to cut back on it even a week before your wedding day. Consuming alcohol can make you look and feel puffy due its sulphur - bearing gases and other qualities that weaken your digestive system. Moreover, it dilates your blood vessels which can lead to redness on your skin. You don’t want to look like a ripe tomato in your wedding photographs do you?

Say no to extra calories
Peels and micro skin treatments
A peel or a microdermabrasion will give you a smooth-silky skin in the long run, but it's a total no-go the week before you wedding. After getting yourself a chemical peel or micro skin treatments, some people see their skin peel off quite often. Others may experience major irritation and redness. Now, when you put make-up on such aggravated skin, it will only exasperate the irritable condition. So, it is always safe to undergo such peels and treatments at least two weeks before the wedding date.

Micro skin treatments and peels are a big no
Experimenting new skincare products
It's an absolute no-no to change your skin care routine a week prior to your wedding day. If you are planning to rev up your skin care regime, start at least a month in advance. Swapping in a new product could lead to allergic reaction, dryness, oiliness or an array of other side effects that take time to correct. Also, be sure to consult a dermatologist before a couple of months ahead of time to choose an apt routine which matches your skin look flawless on the D-day.

A new workout
Girls, stick to the routine you've been following throughout because a week before your big day is not when you try different moves. Pulled weeks can take upto two weeks to heal and you don't want to miss out on the dancing because of a sore. If you are too stressed before the wedding day, just start taking regular walks. The nature is the best in calming you down.

Do not try new workout moves
All-nighters
Pulling all nighters just to make sure everything is planned and executed perfectly? No! Assign the duty to a dutiful friend and get some sleep. Getting enough sleep also improves your complexion, rids your eyes of dark circles and let's face it makes you a happier and a calmer bride.
Remember to get enough sleep
