World Tattoo Day: Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, celebrities and their eye-catching tattoos
On World Tattoo Day today, here’s how our favourite celebrities got inked!
World Tattoo Day is organised with the aim to promote the tattoo art and culture. Tattoos have been used as creative ways to express yourself: a favourite pet, a sign of love, mark of strength through tough times, or just something beautiful you’d love to adorn on your body.
In case you’re planning to get one or just love looking at beautiful tattoos, here are some of B-towns celebrities who have made their designs super famous!

Priyanka Chopra, of course, “Daddy’s little girl” is the tattoo Priyanka featured on her right hand as a dedication to her beloved Father. The calligraphy and placement are just so beautifully done. Doesn’t it make you want to have your own dad’s name tattooed?

Sonakshi Sinha also adorned her collarbone with a cute little star, perfect for people who want to try out smaller and more discreet tattoos that can be covered up with clothing or a scarf when needed.

Kangana Ranaut’s tattoo artist posted this picture of Kangana’s old tattoo and how he redid some work on it. The tattoo inked on the nape of her neck has wings, a sword and a crown. The tattoo design symbolises freedom and power. Kangana surely has an ever-evolving taste.

Earlier in March Sushmita Sen sported her new fierce tattoo: of a fierce tiger with its eyes wide open and blooming out of a lotus. Sushmita took the internet by storm as her picture went viral!

Deepika Padukone’s tattoo has been one of the most controversial tattoos of B-town! Since her split with Ranbir Kapoor in 2008, the actress has often been asked if she got her “RK” tattoo removed or replaced. Recently in May, all the speculations were put to rest with a picture on her fitness trainer’s instagram. Surely, Deepika still embraces the tattoo on the nape of her neck gracefully.
Saif Ali Khan displayed his love by getting his now wife, Kareena Kapoor’s first name tattooed on his arm back when they were dating. This tattoo was the talk of the town with everyone trying to get a glimpse of it. Who better than the Nawab to embrace a bold tattoo.

Sanjay Dutt might be the most tattooed person in Bollywood! In a recent post on Instagram we see Mahesh Bhatt looking at Sanjay’s elaborate Lord Shiva Tattoo, with Om Namah Shivaya written in Sanskrit below.

Ajay Devgn, a devout follower of Lord Shiva, also has a tattoo of Shiva on his chest- much like Sanjay Dutt. The actor also has tattooed his kids names: Nysa and Yug.
Have these celebs inspired you enough to get yourself inked this #worldtattooday?
