1. A juice cleanse is said to be a great way to detox but it is simply a myth. Skipping meals and consuming juices instead will weaken your body instead of cleansing it.

2. When you consume more beverages and cut out the food from your diet, you don’t really lose weight permanently. You only lose water weight.

3. A liquid diet can weaken your body and make you feel fatigued. It can cause a deficiency of nutrition in your body and weaken your immune system. It could also make you feel dizzy.

4. Juices don’t curb hunger. This makes you constantly think about food. It makes you hangry and causes a number of mood swings due to hunger.

5. Juices don’t have enough carbs and calories. This causes a lack of energy because your body has nothing to burn and create energy. This also slows down your metabolism.
