Mumbai Rains: Here’s everything you can do at home to enjoy the monsoon season

If you cannot leave your house, here are all the things you can do to enjoy that time at home.

The sky has come pouring down at it has been a difficult time for people in Mumbai. With a lot of areas being water-clogged, most Mumbaikars have been on house arrest for at least a few days. With no place to go, your home is the only place you can be. With so much time in your hand, isn’t it better to enjoy it? So here are a few things you can do to utilize the extra time in your hands. 

1: Board Games:

What is better than a bunch of games and good banter with your friends and neighbours. From sequence to ludo, games can be a fun way to elevate the gloomy weather. It will also be a fun way to bond with your friends. Because let us be real, nobody is going anywhere!

2: Host a Movie Night:

Movies are the best way to enjoy a night at home. Pick a genre that your family would enjoy. Plan for a whole evening of back-to-back viewing of the movies. Great nights start with movie dates. So, if you are alone at home with your loved ones, what can stop you from Netflix and Chilling?

3: Karaoke:

If you and your friends are stuck at home, make sure to make most of it. From experience, this is an evening of lots of laughter and joy! Even if people do not know how to sing well, you will at least have a lot of stories to talk about later.

4: DIY project:

If you are someone who always has some DIY project saved on their phone, this is the right time for you. When you have to be at home for long periods of time, might as well do something creative!

5: Read a Book:

When you have a lot of time, it is the best way to catch up on some reading. Start reading books from your favourite author or much better, re-read your favourite books. 

6: Have a Spa Night:

Make the most of the time in your hand, get into the zone of loving your body. Skin care and hair care is the best thing you can do to calm the skin from the humidity of the season. While you are at home, you can also make use of your favourite home remedies.

7: Yoga/Excercise:

Rejuvenate yourself and give your muscles some stretching. Yoga is an excellent way to stay fit and clear your mind from all the work stress you’ve been having lately. Try some yoga or your favourite exercises which will, in turn, give you the much rejuvenation.
