Game of Thrones: Arya Stark and Gendry’s love making scene on Episode 2 leaves the Twitterati in splits

WAfter the maddening wait of 557 days, Game of Thrones fans finally got to see their favourite television show back in action. The first episode opened to roaring numbers with fans across the globe syncing their time with the US premiere time. Obviously so that they are not bombarded with spoilers later on. Though the first episode was slightly slow paced and showed a predicted plot-line, the second episode gripped everyone’s hearts. Brace yourself for major spoiler alerts!

The episode saw some fiery moments, Jamie and Brandon Stark’s reunion, Jon revealing the truth about his parentage to Daenerys, Brienne of Tarth earning the knighthood. The highlight of the show however, was Arya and Gendry’s sultry love making scene. No one, literally no one could have predicted this characteristic in Arya during the beginning of the season. However, as soon as Episode 2 began, subtle hints were dropped by the way the young Stark was looking at Gendry work.

Although there were enough hints, no one was expecting Arya to get into a full blow makeout scene considering that everyone still considers her a child. The scene takes place when everyone at Winterfell is preparing for the war against the dead and everyone’s living up their final moments. Its then when Arya comes to Gendry, asks him about his sexual life and tells him that if they are dying tomorrow, she’d like to know how it is to be with a man. As soon as the scene was aired and the episode was over, Twitterati as usual came into its own light and started expressing their opinions.
