In today’s time, life cannot exist without the internet. We spend our entire day in front of a screen. It may be anything ranging from our laptop to tablet to mobile phone. We are so connected to the internet that we forget the world around us. Within a few years, we’ve gone from sending SMS to Whatsapping to Instagramming and what not. Today almost every household has a good internet connection. Because it’s not just the kids or teens who need it now. Offices and colleges have Whatsapp groups and work cannot happen without laptops and the internet. In this online world, we have forgotten the real one. We forget to disconnect when we get home and we need vacations and breaks in order to disconnect. But sometimes the universe does it for us. What happens when your internet connection stops working? Here are a few things you can do to keep yourself entertained when your Wi-Fi stops working.
1. Read that newspaper that has been lying on the table all day long. If not the newspaper, read a book. That book in the back of your cupboard that you’ve been planning on reading for ages? Now would be a good time to dig it out.

2. Cook a little. Now that there’s no internet your online ordering apps and websites cannot come to your rescue. So, cook because it will keep you busy, relaxed and entertained. You can always check the recipe from the cookbook you never even look at or you could just call up your mom.

3. Play games. You and your family or friends could just play some good old board games to keep yourselves entertained.

4. Play with your pet or take them out for a walk. They’ve been waiting to spend some time with you. They just want your love and attention and maybe now you can give them some undivided attention.

5. Talk to your family or friends or flatmates. Catch up with their lives and discuss yours. Now you can stop talking about things on that WhatsApp group and actually talk to each other face to face.

6. Go for a movie with your loved ones or watch a good old movie on the television.
