Anxiety involves more than just fear and worry. The victim may also get panic attacks.

Alcohol and drugs have a strong relationship with anxiety. People who abuse alcohol show more symptoms of anxiety. Especially people with social anxiety who over-drink alcohol are said to experience severe anxiety. The combination of alcohol, drugs and anxiety is a dangerous one.

The butterfly shaped gland present in front of your neck is responsible for producing thyroid hormones which regulate your metabolism. When a lot of hormones are produced, it causes irritability, nervousness and sleeplessness which are all anxiety symptoms.

Stress triggers anxiety and makes it worse. Stress is what causes anxiety symptoms. The more you stress, the more likely you’re to experience anxiety.
