Dating Tips: THESE are some red flags you should look out for on the first date

First dates are often weird and uncomfortable. Mostly because we're always on edge and nervous about meeting someone new and we're constantly wondering how things will turn out to be. It could be the best date of your life or it could be the worst one or maybe it could be just another date! But if you're going out on a date with hopes of finding a meaningful relationship and making a deeper connection with the other person, it's important to remember that one date will lead to another and if things turn out well, you might end up in a relationship with this person. And that means you need to watch out for any deal breakers before things move forward and more often than not people tend to miss out on crucial red flags that can be easily spotted on the first until it's too late already.

 

Here are some red flags that you should look out for on the first date:

1. If your date expects you to invite him over after the first date or expects a kiss because he paid for food or dropped you home, it probably means that he feels too entitled and does not respect boundaries at all.

2. If your date has been constantly passing lewd comments and every conversation turns into a conversation about sex. If their gaze or comments are making you uncomfortable, you should probably stay away from such a person but do give them a warning and a chance to change their behaviour.

3. When your date starts telling you every little thing about their personal life and minute details of their lives and their feelings, it's a sign that your date might just be a tad bit too clingy, to begin with.

4. Some people are moody and that's alright as long as it doesn't get out of hand but if your date has been going through constant mood swings every now and then, it's probably a part of their personality and can put you on the edge and your relationship might end up being a troublesome one.

5. It's good to be passionate for a cause and have opinions and healthy debates on controversial topics but it's not a good sign if things take a turn for the worse. If this debate turns into a screaming match it means that this person has a certain temperament and every conversation may turn sour if you don't agree with them.

6. If your date is rude to waiters and people around them, it's probably a sign of an ill-mannered person. You don't want to be in a relationship with someone who is rude to all those around you and chances are they'll be rude to you as well.
