So if you think that you are developing feelings for your friends, then there are some signs that you are falling in love with your best friend.

You prioritize your friend over other friends:

You always make time for them and find yourself doing things for them that you wouldn't do for anyone else. Their one phone call is enough to make your day better, and you answer their call even if you are sleeping or busy.

You don't need a reason to meet them:

It's always a good time to meet them. You don't feel conscious around them and don't worry about what to wear when you go to meet them. Even long silences feel comfortable with them.

You dream about them:

You end up dreaming about them, you dream about visiting places with them, you dream about having your favourite dishes with them. And you secretly don’t want the dream to end. 

They become the only therapist you need:

You share all your emotions, problems, and conflicts with them. You are a phone call away for them and trust them blindly. Nothing they say can ever make you feel bad. You listen to all their crap unconditionally. 

Hugs feel different:

What used to be the most casual embrace now feels much warmer, and you wouldn’t mind it lasting a little longer. You've also grown a little conscious of their touch.

You are overprotective about them:

All of a sudden you fear to lose them, you feel jealous if they give equal attention to someone else. It feels bizarre because you’ve never had to worry about these things before.
