Shraddha Kapoor is not just known for her amazing acting skills but also for her toned and fit frame. She is a fitness freak and has been giving us fitness goals. And to maintain the same, she does a lot of rigorous exercises daily and follows a strict healthy and balanced diet.

For her movies, Shraddha kept changing her diet and workout routines as per the demands of three movies- Saaho, Street Dancer 3D and Chhichhore.

Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, official trainers of Shraddha Kapoor, Maahek and Praveen Nair opened up on Shraddha's latest workout routine and diet that she has been following as she shot for all the three projects.


Workouts followed by Shraddha
Maahek and Praveen revealed that her training had a combination of pilates and cross-fit. So, drills like handstands which lead to core engagements were followed by her. In this exercise, muscles in the body contract and even heart muscles are engaged and that's why it is considered as one of the best compound exercises.

They also focused on a lot of movements which are barbell based as they make you more functionally fit. Barbell workouts which used the full body to create the movement were included.

The trainers also use TRX bands as Shraddha travelled back and forth for her shoots. The trainers added that Hotel gyms do not have access to all equipment so TRX is handy and easy to carry. With the help of TRX bands, exercises such as mid-row, squad jumps and pushup cum tuck crunch were done by Shraddha.

They make sure that they work on the flexibility of Shraddha. Stretching and splits post and pre-workout are of utmost importance and Shraddha too, followed the same to maintain her flexibility and also to avoid injuries. 

Speaking of Pilates, Swan and Swan Dive movements which are done by lifting chest plates up were also performed by the actress. With the help of the exercise, one engages upper trunk, glute muscles and inner thigh connection.


Diet followed by her
When asked about the diet that she has been following of late. They revealed that post her workout in the morning, she usually drinks almond milk smoothie and for breakfast, she eats scrambled eggs and avocados. For the snacks, she likes to eat nuts and green tea. She also incorporates lean meat such as salmon & asparagus.

Maahek and Praveen also revealed that Shraddha hardly skips her workout sessions even though the shoots tire her or finishes her work by late night. Shraddha also religiously follow her meal plans. They gave an example of how Shraddha, even during Ramadan in Dubai never binged or ate lavish food such as Biryani and other mouth-watering delicacies and stuck to her diet.
