Quick and Easy Recipe to make Pizza at home from scratch
Pizza is a staple dish for every special occasion or even for casual occasions like a movie marathon or as a midnight snack. Follow this super easy recipe to make delicious and finger-licking good pizza at home from scratch.
Pizza is a dish that we all love. Be it a birthday party, a casual get-together or a movie night, pizza is the perfect dish to serve and binge on! Most of us, order pizzas from famous joints and feel that making one at home is too tedious a task.
Those who do make it at home, make it with the help of a store-bought pizza base that doesn’t often give the same fresh and delicious taste as the commercially-prepared pizzas. So we have for you a simple and quick recipe to make pizza at home from scratch to indulge in the goodness of scrumptious and mouth-watering homemade pizza!

Step 1
Add 2 ½ tbsp of active dry yeast to 1 ½ cup warm water with a temperature of 105-110 degree Fahrenheit. Mix it with a spoon and let it sit for 10 minutes. Once a layer of foam begins to form on top, add 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour, salt, 1 tsp organic sugar and 2 tbsp of olive oil.
Step 2
Mix all the ingredients and knead the dough till it becomes soft and elastic. Spread some olive oil on all the sides of a bowl and place the dough in it. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
Step 3
Divide the dough into 2-3 balls and roll it with the help of a rolling pin to give it the shape of a pizza base. Prepare the sauce by sauteing some chopped tomatoes with some crushed garlic. Season with salt and pepper and add 1-2 tsp of tomato puree to it. You can also add some chilli flakes to make it spicy.

Step 4
For the toppings, you can use your choice of vegetables like onions, capsicums, olives and mushrooms. Chop them roughly and bring them to room temperature.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 250 degree celsius. Spread the sauce on the pizza base and top with the chopped vegetables and lots of grated cheese. Add herbs like oregano, chilli flakes, etc. on top. Place the pizza on a cast iron pan or a baking stone and bake it for 10-15 minutes.
