Ingredients
Fresh tomatoes as per your requirement
Garlic 3-4 cloves
1/2 Onion

1 Beetroot
1 small ginger
Chilli powder according to your need
Vinegar 2 tsp
½ cup of sugar
Salt as per your taste
Boiled water
This preparation is for 2-3 servings. But if you want more, then increase the quantity of the ingredients.
Method:
1.Wash all the veggies properly and then chop them roughly. Chop the garlic into fine pieces.
2.Then put all the tomatoes in a pan then add the beetroot for a dark red colour of the ketchup.
3.Then add onion, garlic and ginger to it. Those who don't eat onion and garlic can avoid this step.

4.Now add sugar, vinegar, some salt and chilli powder and cover the pan with a lid. Keep it for 20-30 minutes so that the tomatoes get cooked properly and water gets dried.
5.Once the tomatoes are mashed, take them out of the gas and pour the mixture into a grinder to make it a paste.
6.Then strain the paste properly to get smooth and thick tomato ketchup. Make sure you strain it properly.
7.Once you are done with straining, then pour the ketchup in a clean and dry bottle and keep it in a cool and dry place and enjoy your homemade ketchup.
