Stop eating fat:

When intending to burn fat, people switch to low-fat food and eliminate fat from their diet. But this is one of the most illogical things that one should do. Since low-fat food items have high sugar content and sugar increases insulin the body, which promotes the storage of fat. But if you consume a high-fat diet, it has little or no effect on insulin and also promotes fat burning. High-fat food items keep you full for longer and are used as a source of energy by the body.

Eating healthy can help you lose weight:

Following a healthy lifestyle is good for your well being, but eating healthy food cannot help you attain your desired weight. Consuming healthy food is not equivalent to consuming food with low calories. The only way to lose weight is by maintaining a calorie deficit diet, which means burning more calories than you consume. Some food items have a high calorie value, but they have a good amount of fibre and fat that our body needs to function.

Juice detox works:

Vivid kinds of juice detox are in nowadays, people are trying different kinds of liquid diet to lose weight, but the truth is that liquid detox has nothing to do with weight loss. Detoxification is a function of your liver and kidneys. On the contrary, juices are high in sugar and lack fibre, which results in blood sugar spike, followed by hunger pangs. You end up eating more after the juice detox, and this detox also affects your metabolic rate because there's no protein added to the detox.

Muscle turns into fat:

When we gain weight and stop working out for a while, we tend to believe that our muscles have turned into fat, but that's not true. We lose our muscle mass and our muscle shrinks because of lack of workout. Fat and muscle are separate tissues and cannot be merged. You can burn fat and you can lose muscle, but muscle doesn't turn into fat, and fat doesn't transform into muscle.

You lose fat from one part:

This is one of the greatest myths of fat burning. People tend to believe that they can focus on losing fat from the waist or upper arms individually, but that's not how it works. The only way to lose fat is to lose overall body fat. In fact, our genetics determine where we store fat and where we take it off from first.
