Reduces inflammation 

Manuka honey has anti-inflammatory properties that help in reducing inflammation and redness. It promotes smooth skin and is effective in treating inflammatory skin conditions, like psoriasis, rosacea, acne etc.

Helps in healing wounds

It helps in wound-healing and reduces swelling. It has antibacterial properties and kills the bacteria that are responsible for infections and inflammation in wounds.

Treats acne

Manuka honey has anti-oxidative and antibacterial properties that reduce redness, swelling and inflammation that is associated with acne. It fights the acne-causing bacteria and stops the growth of acne vulgaris.

Ways to use it

Face mask

To make a face mask using manuka honey, simply mix 1 tbsp of manuka honey with almond oil and apply it on your face. Wash it off with cold water after 15-20 minutes.

Spots

Be it a cut, a pimple or a blemish, you can use manuka honey to cure it. Just apply some of it on the affected area and wash it off once it dries. 

Facewash

You can even incorporate it in your daily skincare regime by using it as a facewash. Simply mix it with some water and massage it on your face. Rinse with cold water and pat dry.
