Here’s how Janhvi Kapoor achieves that perfectly dewy makeup look

Don’t you think Janhvi Kapoor’s makeup look is always so perfect and glowly? From her pre-release promotional looks of Dhadak to her Lakme Fashion Week appearance – we loved every beauty look. From the humidity that surrounds our city it’s really difficult to have the perfect luminous sheen without looking greasy. Yet, Janhvi’s look is always on point and we’d like to take a cue from her and her makeup artist on how to achieve such beautiful and divine radiance!

In a chat with Vogue India, celebrity makeup artist and Janhvi’s go to for beauty looks- Vardan Nayak, spilled the beans on why the look was used on her: “Janhvi plays a Marwadi girl from Rajasthan, and our brief for the promotions run was to remain authentic to the character that she portrays in the movie. After going through her wardrobe, we gauged that the best way to remain true to her role without unnecessarily ageing her look was to opt for a clean, dewy aesthetic, using softer colours like blush pink and peach,”  

After which he added “To get the dewy look right, it is essential to avoid overdoing the blush.” Along with this a few tips we’d love to add are to stick to a blushed-nudes or nude palette like this one from Maybelline. But before getting to your eyes, make sure to use an illumination serum before your foundation like this one from Lakme. To avoid looking greasy try a compact powder or translucent setting powder to set your entire look and top it off with a natural looking highlighter.
