The latest one to lift the benchmark and take things a notch higher, was a fashion designer Fredrik Tjaerandsen who showcased a spectacular new collection of balloon dress designs that have gone viral on the internet. Social media was taken aback by his creation as the designs went viral on all platforms causing a stir. He was even awarded the L'Oreal Professional Young Talent Award for his creativity. In an interview with Love Magazine, the designer revealed that these balloon garments were created using an air pressure system which allowed the person wearing the outfit to control the flow of air. To pop the balloon, the model needed to activate an internal latch which popped air out of the bubble.
The models who walked the runway showcased and popped the ensembles and demonstrated how to carry off the outfit on the runway. For the designs, Tjaerandsen told Vogue that he was inspired by his early childhood memories and wanted to recreate the childhood idea and he even tested the bubbles on himself for health and safety reasons.
At the end of the day, the bubble dresses are rewearable and can be reworn both as bubble or as a dress.
