Dior’s iconic 2000s saddle bag is available in stores and we just can’t keep calm
Major nostalgia as the famous 2000s saddle bag is making a comeback
Didn’t we all wake up to major influencers and celebrities flaunting the famous Dior saddle bag on social media? Well, Maria Grazia Chiuri, artistic director of Dior has reintroduced the super famous bag on the Fall 2018 runway and fashion enthusiasts all over the world are flipping.
The acclaimed designer has incorporated various design elements which include, 60s inspired patchwork, sleek all black leather and the current raging logo trend. The saddle bag was carried by everyone from Carrie Bradshaw to Paris Hilton in the 2000s. The iconic bag has now hit the stands and is available in a range of styles and in two sizes - large and mini. The bag ranges from $2,350 to $8,500.
Maria in a statement from the brand, said, “I consider this icon of the house's recent history the perfect accessory to deal with this battle that is daily life. Indeed, the saddle bag is a bag that is worn in exactly the same way as a shirt or jacket, and it’s so comfortable to wear with its long strap that you almost forget it’s there."
Supermodel Miranda Kerr, fashion influencer Chiara Ferragni to name a few were celebrities who flaunted the saddle bag. Back in India, celebrity stylist, Shaleena Nathani too flaunted the Dior bag.
