Like planning a holiday was not stressful enough, putting together a holiday packing list is extremely tiresome as well. A truly efficient holiday wardrobe must include pieces that are versatile and capable of being worn more than once. For a stress-free, horror-free and a completely chic vacay, you've just got to do it. To help you avoid a complete meltdown, we're doing that laborious part for you. Here is a checklist of things you need, before you head for that summer escapade.

1. A chic passport holder

If you are travelling overseas then your passport is your life! Keep it safe and looking chic at the same time, using a passport holder.

2. A travel wallet

No more tatty bits floating around in the bottom of your bag. Invest in a handy travel wallet that can securely keep all bills, documents and receipts.

3. Headphones

If in-flight entertainment ain't enough, then you NEED a handy pair of headphones to block out all unneeded noise.

4. Luggage tag

Better safe than sorry! Add a travel tag to your luggage to mark it and avoid any mix up at the conveyor belt.

5. Floppy hat

A floppy hat looks ultra-chic and keeps you protected from the harsh summer sun.

6. Trusty sunnies

A pair of good quality sunglasses that suit your face is a must! So if you are looking a bit tired and groggy, then just throw these on to look flawless in your vacation pictures.

7. Beach towel

If you are heading to a tropical destination and have a little extra luggage space then make sure you carry a beach towel. Not all hotel give complimentary towels and you will have to spend those extra bucks to buy a new one then!

8. Scarf

From covering your head, styling your outfit to using it in chic hairstyles there is nothing a scarf cannot do!

9. Swimsuit

Needless to say, if you are going to hit the beach you will need a swimsuit.

10. Hoops

A pair of hoops compliment every faces type and make for the perfect multi-purpose accessory to carry.

11. A black leather jacket

A black leather jacket can instantly take your outfit from zero to hundred. It keeps you warm while looking stylish at the same time.

12. T-shirts

For obvious reasons, you are going to need a couple of basic t-shirts. Pick muted colours like black, navy, striped, white or green. You can wear these under your jumpsuit, matched with floaty trousers or pair it with your slip dress.

13. An off-the-shoulder top

By simply styling a bardot neckline top right, you can easily take an outfit from day to night. It is a trendy piece and a well fitted off-the-shoulder top MUST be in your holiday packing list.

14. A lacy top

A lace top simply paired with jeans, hoops and red lips can be a perfect go-to for a night out.

15. A floaty maxi

This one is seriously a multi-tasker! Want to go out sightseeing in the day? Wear a maxi dress, with a denim jacket and a floppy hat. Going out in the night? Wear your maxi dress, with red lips and an updo. There is seriously nothing this multifunctional piece cannot do.

16. Solid coloured or printed palazzo pants

A pair of solid coloured printed palazzo's is a breezy-comfy pick. If styled right it can be worn in many ways.

17. A pair of shorts

Carry a basic pair of black shorts to pair with your t-shirts or fancy tops for a night out.

18. High-rise jeans

A pair of high-rise jeans will make sure you are comfortable at all times and not be pulling your jeans up constantly. Plus, they are easier to style.
