The new trend Shrobing shows that you have been wearing your jacket wrong all this while

So New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week have all the fashionistas and the street style glitterati wearing their jackets wrong. Oh no, wait. It's a trend.

Balenciaga debuted the look at his first show for the iconic Parisian fashion house back in March last year. This trend has a name now and it is called Shrobing. 

Move along coat over the shoulder trend, wearing your jacket or coat or any layer off-the-shoulder is all you need to do. 

Your coat or jacket is perhaps not quite serving its purpose of keeping you warm when worn like this and let's be honest you can't lift your arms up. Now we all know that fashion never was and never will be practical. This trend, however, does make for an ultra-chic street style OTTD.

This trend has been worn by many international as well as desi style stars. From the Kardashian Family to streets style stars like Gigi Hadid and Rihanna to Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Jacqueline Fernandez, Amrita Arora and more. Here is a glimpse at who wore this trend and how! 

The key to nailing this trend? Wear a cross-body bag beneath your open shrobed coat, and get a few solid layers on underneath to prevent the chill. If wearing it during the summers, wear it over your strappy or strapless tops and dresses to give it an off the shoulder or one shoulder effect.
