The Pinkvilla fashion review: Mirzya

Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra's Mirzya introduces the young and fresh Harshwardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher in an epic telltale. But what really gives the characters conviction is their look, so here is what they wore and our fashion review of the movie.https://www.youtube.com/embed/TIfoGgl4o0I?rel=0"frameborder=Saiyami Kher:Saiyami who plays the role of Suchitra in the movie comes from an affluent family, she plays the role of an (almost) young princess. Her looks are good but a tad bit low-key for a princess to be. Saiyami is seen wearing cool and young outfits like, cropped sweaters and leggings, printed tunic dresses and stretch pants with oversize shirts. The horse riding sessions show her wear riding boots, that somehow instantly elevate her look and make her attire chic as hell! In the second half of the movie Siyami is seen wearing a stunning, quintessential, desi Red Rajasthani Sabyasachi lehenga. The lehenga weighed 14 Kilos with a koti worn over her blouse , heavy Kundan necklace, Nathni, and a borala. It almost aches our hearts to see how this beautiful garment was abused in the second half. Our favorite look of Saiyami though is her green engagement outfit. Ladies, if you have a wedding to attend keep an eye out for that stunning look. Harshvardhan Kapoor:When it comes to fashion, Harshvardhan Kapoor has a lot of pressure on his shoulders considering he is the brother of Bollywood's ultimate fashionistas Sonam and Rhea Kapoor. Fashion wise there is not much that could be done with Harshvardhan's look since he plays the role of a bad ass stable boy. His grunge beard and unruly hair add so much more character to his look. He is seen wearing jeans and t-shirts, with worn out leather jackets and typical Rajasthani style sleeveless, cotton shirts, of course, he had to flaunt his muscles. If you have them flaunt them! Men, keep and eye out for the looks sported by Anuj Chaudhary who plays the role of Karan, a prince, and Saiyami Kher's fiancee. His polo shirts worn with light chinos, jackets, and coats paired with glam sunglasses are kick ass. Men take a note, that is how you dress! Hair and makeup:Saiyami hair and makeup were au' natural' as she wore a dewy face with eyeliner or kajal and nude lips. Though the makeup was minimal this debutant managed to look fresh and pretty.She has mostly used golden and light nude tones of makeup.Trends to pick up: When the movie transcends back into the Mirza Sahiban era, the clothes worn are the same, they are the medieval costumes. But it is the trends from that era, we hope people pick up. Saiyami's bold bird wing eyeliner and gladiator sandals are fierce as hell and hope it is something all young girls would try.Harshvardhan's, man buns which actually are a huge trend already is something all men should give a shot. Out and Out the looks in the movie were great and the characters dressed the part, but we wish the clothes were as elaborate as the movie. Considering the movie is set in Rajasthan we would have loved to see more colour in the clothes.
