Runway Report: Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2016
Wendell's show was all about the base, as women of all age shape and sizes walked down the ramp in so much grace, elegance and panache.
His designs were flowy and quirky, though we are not quite certain how those fit into autumn winter. Wendell's designs looked one season too late as they were more summer-resort and less winter wear
Fabrics: He used light and breezy fabrics such as linen, paper silk, silk crepe, chanderi, cotton weaves. Like we said not really the best fabrics to wear when it's Autumn winter!

Designs: Wendell introduced some really quirky and fresh cuts and designs such as long collars, slashing necklines, shrugs, panelled capes, 3D panel extension, patched stripe panels. He also showcased some bags and shoes that he designed.

Looks: His designs included looks such as sheer layering, distorted sleeves, shimmer dotted lines, flared cut off pants and layered silk palazzos.

Colour pallet: The colours used in the show were, light and pastels hues. He used rather summery colours such as white, beige, yellow, pink, peach, lime, mint, aqua and grey! More power to Wendell to encourage body positivity and dress women from all walks of life, but our verdict is that his collection is one season too late!
