Vogue Wedding Show 2017, a three-day lavish wedding exhibition, showcased the finest, latest and most exclusive services in the bridal world at Taj Palace. It showcased India’s most exclusive bridal extravaganza.
We caught up with every bride's dream team and ingenious designers Falguni-Shane Peacock and Tarun Tahiliani at the Vogue Wedding Show and here is what they have to say:

FP&SP: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
PV: Tell your association with Vogue Wedding Show and about your latest collection?
FP&SP: We have been a part of Vogue wedding show for 2 years and it is always good to do this as we get to meet all the brides.
The collection this time we have done chrome lehengas and chrome applique lehengas with embellishments. We have also done gowns with trails and very elaborate designs.
PV: What is in store for the groom?
FP&SP: Meet us next year! We are starting a men's line.
PV: Tips for brides and grooms to be?
FP: FP: For the brides, I think every outfit should be different and it should be one from different designers because then it looks like you have done your five functions elaborately.
SP: Tips for grooms- Avoid wearing stark pink, avoid too much makeup, Do not wear an extremely coordinated look- try to mix and match it.
PV: The trends that brides should be avoiding this season?
FP&SP: I think too much velvet.
PV: What inspires your collection?
FP&SP: Our collection is inspired by the modern Indian bride who wants to look different. The idea is that she is basically Persian, lost in Jaipur in the sheesh mahal and she becomes a bride there and that is how she styles herself.

PV: Tell us about your association with the Vogue wedding show?
TT: I think it is a great platform and one refined place where everyone can come and see the top design talent in jewellery and clothing.
PV: Key Trends for brides this year?
TT:
1. Lightness
2. Pastels
3. Very Sensual designs
I think brides are becoming more and more secure so they don't feel like they need to be over done or over caked up and they are becoming more refined with their taste. Also, there is no pressure to be royal, all the cool kids want to be themselves.
PV: What is in store for grooms?
TT: All grooms wear very nice tailoring, men want to wear clothes in which they feel good and they want to dance in and look great.
PV: Top five tips for brides and grooms to be?
TT:
1. Be Yourself
2. Wear something comfortable do not try to be somebody you are not.
3. Respect tradition and value things for their luxury and their finesse.
4. And embroidery is not the answer to everything
PV: What sets the Tarun Tahiliani bride apart?
TT: The finesse, the understated elegance, the way the designs fall on the body particularly.
PV: What inspired your collection?
TT: My love for perfection and India in its many different ways- it's draping and refinement.
I have had great teachers, like my own mother who loved beautiful things and for the love of beauty and things that are always going to wonderfully stand out.
PV: An urban brides wardrobe staples?
TT:
1. Beautiful kalidar kurtas

6. Simple sarees and the rest really depends on their personality.

TT: Over doing it

TT: A life size shark that hangs over my desk.
