With party season just around the corner, what are some style tips you’d give to all the girls out there?
The party season calls for tons of family gatherings, work parties, night out with friends and the most important one of them all, New Years Eve. My advice to girls everywhere is, be comfortable in what you wear and simply have fun while you do it. From the little black dresses to the glittery sequins, all of it works perfect for the season, as long as it's not overdone and all the elements of the look complement each other.

What’s better? Minimal chic or Bold beauty?
I usually prefer minimal chic in my own way, but it’s the festive season so I think it’s only fair to go a little bold. However, your personal style should resonate with whatever you choose. That’s what matters
Additionally, I think it is very important to dress appropriately to the occasion. For example, a sequined dress in a blocked colour, say black, is not overly eye-catching but at the same time, it is bold enough for the party season.

What colour should we opt for the party season?
White, ivory, soft shiny pink, or black! Metallics are always a stylish pick for the non-stop days of fun and parties.

If you’d have to choose only one piece of clothing for a party, what would it be?
I’d pick a little white or pink slip dress in rich silk satin. It's effortlessly gorgeous and easy to layer for the cooler nights.

What is that one piece of clothing/accessory that we should dump this season?
Uggs

What is that one rule to live by while accessorising any outfit?
Don’t overdo it. Accessorise your look with a statement piece and use clutches for the evenings. Avoid big bags, they take away the focus from the outfit.

What’s better? A trendy dress or a classic LBD?
We have the entire year for LBDs, a trendy dress is a refreshing change.

A style tip for all the girls who want to be party ready right after work.
Personally, I feel layering is key to making your look versatile to get you through the day, yet something that can be easily vamped up for the night. With respect to your makeup, keep it muted through the work hours but adding a bold lip is perfect and a fail-proof way to amp up your look for the post work parties.

Lastly, is less really more?
In terms of the occasion and party wear, I think this statement can hold true or not based on one's personality and what they feel comfortable in.

How is Sunaina Khera’s design aesthetic? How does she like to dress her people?
It’s really a collaboration between my design sensibilities and the person’s personality on some level. I love doing occasion wear and our embroidery is what sets us apart but I really like to design clothes that make women feel confident and sexy in.
