Fashion Faceoff: Sonam Kapoor or Taapsee Pannu: Who wore the white pantsuit better?

A new day calls for a new Fashion Faceoff!

Fashion faceoffs have become common than ever and now we are honestly curious in knowing whether these are ‘inspired’ by each other or just a coincidence of wearing similar outfits. We had last seen Sonam and Deepika in strikingly similar white pantsuits and now we have Taapsee following suit. 

Sonam who wore the custom made white pantsuit by her designer friends, Ralph and Russo on the Cannes red carpet bagged a lot of appreciation for the twist she added to the power suit. The actress who added a soft drape and trail to the rather powerful attire made for the perfect balance of structured and impeccable tailoring to feminine drapes. The actress also accessorised the look with statement emerald necklaces that added the right amount of colour to the look. Lastly, Sonam styled the look with a centre-parted low bun and kohl clad eyes. 

Following suit, Taapsee Pannu opted for a very similar attire by an Indian label called Starch. The actress wore a white pantsuit with a rather narrow fit that featured similar draping and trail. While Sonam’s look was body-hugging and perfectly tailored, Taapsee was a bit wider. The actress styled the look with a centre-parted low ponytail and opted for kohl on her lower lash line. 

We loved both the looks but were a clear fan of the tailoring of Sonam’s pantsuit and the way she styled it. Do you agree?
