Fashion Faceoff: Rakul Preet Singh channels major Deepika Padukone vibes in this Anamika Khanna ensemble

Rakul Preet Singh, last seen in Ajay Devgn's De De Pyaar De, has geared up for the promotions of her upcoming Telugu film, Manmadhudu 2. Starring. Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in Nagarjuna's Manmadhudu 2. The actress plays a very free-spirited role as Avantika in the upcoming Telugu film. Manmadhudu 2 is all set to release worldwide on August 9. The film also stars Vennela Kishore, Nassar, Rao Ramesh, Lakshmi, Devadarshini and Jhansi in supporting roles.

The actress wore an all-black outfit by Anamika Khanna for an event in the city. The attire bore flared palazzo pants that she paired with a matching bralette. What added that extra amount of oomph to the look was the cape jacket. The jacket featured pleated fabric around its hem and collar adding drama to the rather plain ensemble. It casually brushed the floor while covering her lean frame. 

She styled the look with a tousled messy top knot. Adding to her ensemble was a stunning silver choker piece making it for a perfect statement accessory. Soft smokey eyes, perfectly contoured cheekbones and a neutral lipstick served as a perfect makeup look for the look. 

While the look was a solid one, it was awfully similar to Deepika Padukone’s look from a few months back. The only difference was that Padukone had worn it with layered pearl necklaces while Rakul opted for a silver one.
