Fashion Faceoff: Kiara Advani or Gemma Chan: Who wore the Prabal Gurung dress better?

When it comes to fashion and beauty, there is nobody better to look up to than celebrities. They seem to always be dressed to the nines and look impeccable with not a strand of hair out of place and not one part of their dress crushed or crumpled. Celebrities also take inspiration from each other and start as well as follow trends. There are times when they also sport the same outfit, giving us the perfect fashion face-off. The latest one to give us a cool face-off, is Kabir Singh actress Kiara Advani who wore the same Prabal Gurung dress that Gemma Chan sported a couple of months ago. 

Kiara Advani is riding high on the success of Kabir Singh. For the success party of the film, she opted for a colourful plaid midi dress that featured a thigh-high slit and was cut out at the midriff. The dress came with fringe detailing and ruffles at the centre which made for an interesting look. She paired this dress with a pair of classic pointed pumps by Christian Louboutin and chose to go sans accessories. Minimal makeup and her hair pulled back in a simple ponytail made for a fresh look that didn't clash with her dress. 

Crazy Rich Asians star Gemma Chan sported the same dress a while ago at the BAFTA awards. The dress looked great on her slender figure and she accessorised her look with a pair of black strappy stilettos and a simple black clutch which didn't take away from her outfit. Her makeup was dewy with berry red lips, well-defined eyes and side parted glossy hair pulled back, completing her look. 

We think both the actresses looked stunning in the outfit, but our vote lies with Chan for her makeup and hair that went well with her outfit. Advani on the other hand looked a little drab in the outfit.
