Fashion Faceoff: Deepika Padukone or Malaika Arora: Who wore the Rohit Bal saree better?

Another day, another fashion faceoff! Fashion has reached a point where everybody seems inspired by each other. This time around, it is none other than our two favourite Bollywood ladies – Deepika Padukone and Malaika Arora. Both the ladies opted for a white saree from Rohit Bal’s Guldastah collection at different occasions but still managed to look ravishing while doing so! Let’s take a look.

Deepika Padukone has a love affair with sarees and is not shy about it. She likes to sport the desi outfit at any occasion she can and even manages to carry herself well while doing so. So when she opted for the white saree from Bal’s creation, it was obvious she could do no wrong. She styled the white ensemble that featured red and gold flowers, with a white halter neck blouse. A simple style that complimented the saree. Her hair was pulled back into her classic bun that she adorned with bright red and pink flowers that matched the floral print on her saree. She completed her look by accessorising it with statement pearl earrings and kept her makeup simple for the look. Blush pink cheeks, rosy lids and red lips seemed to do the trick for her, making her look divine and as elegant.

Malaika Arora was spotted attending a festive event in the city today in the same piece by Rohit Bal. She opted for a simple sleeveless blouse with thin straps, as opposed to Padukone’s halter one. Arora decided to glam up her look more and adorned herself with a maang tikka and a large neckpiece with emerals on it. She held a bright pink clutch that matched the flowers on her saree, to complete her look. Malaika too had her hair pulled back in a neat bun but ensured a few strands were left loose. Rosy cheeks, deep pink lips and well-lined eyes made her look wedding ready!

We loved both the ladies’ looks, but thought Deepika Padukone’s halter-neck blouse got her some brownie points!
