Fashion Faceoff: Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif in Gauri & Nainika

Fashion faceoffs have become an extremely common phenomenon. More often than usual our favourite stars end up getting “inspired” by one another. Well TBH, it’s not completely correct to blame the stars alone. We all know that our celebrities roam with a major entourage. It’s sad when their stylists or their team turns a blind eye to what’s happening or just ends up focusing too much on someone else’s style. Sometimes it so happens that the designer creates similar creations in his collection, most of them cut from the same fabric.

In today’s fashion faceoff we have a pretty similar case featuring Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. The two contemporaries unfortunately ended up wearing outfits from the same designer having the same print.

Deepika Padukone donned a pastel pink floral print dress from Gauri & Nainika. The outfit featured a coat cross neck with a tie knot cincing the waist. The midi length dress was styled with a side parted low sleek bun, ear studs, filles in brows and a neutral lip.

Katrina Kaif, who is swamped with the promotions of her latest film Bharat served us a pretty similar look. Kaif, donned the exact same print dress from the same design duo as Deepika’s. The Zero’s actress’s one-shoulder outfit featured a flowy silhouette which was cinched at the waist. The floral maxi dress was styled with open beach wavy hair, ear studs and a glossy lip.

Honestly, both of these look are well styled and pulled off by both the ladies. However, we think that Katrina’s outfit breathes more life, looks a lot more fun and oozes a bit of sexiness as well. The one shoulder neckline especially adds the perfect amount of oomph.
