Fashion Faceoff: Bride to be Deepika Padukone or Anushka Sharma; who nailed the sweater look better?

The biggest wedding of the year is almost around the corner. Ladies and gents, it’s the #DeepVeerKiShaadi. The two lovebirds left for Italy last night and boy we still can’t get over their infectious happiness and smile. Guess weddings have more in common than just love and that bridal glow. Don’t believe us? Well, this time around our sassy fashion faceoff just went up a notch higher as it is between Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma.

The gorgeous bride-to-be left for her wedding destination last night and was beaming with happiness. However, the style icon yet again gave a minimal yet super chic look. Deepika, opted for an oversized off-white turtleneck sweater which she teamed up with a coordinating knit midi skirt with a short side slit. She stuck true to her statement pulled back sleek hair, winged eyeliner, nude lips, nude stilettos and her alluring smile.

While we were still looking and obsessing over Miss Padukone’s airport pictures  we were instantly reminded of Anushka Sharma. Well, you ask us why? The answer is here. Anushka too had opted for an oversized off white knit sweater and skirt combination when she was in Italy for her wedding (co-incidence much?). The Rab Ne Bana Di jodi actress stuck to minimal makeup, tan boots and open beach wavy hair.

While both of them surely had that spectacular bridal glow we thought Deepika’s look was a little more chic and outgoing. We especially love the fact that she opted for nude stilettos which accentuated her look even more.

Well, the tale of coincidences dont end here. Deepika and Ranveer are all set to tie the knot in Lake Como, Italy; a country which was made even more popular by Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma who got hitched in the beautiful land last December. Adding more to the list of co-incidences, Sharma had opted for a Sabyasachi lehenga for her big day and going by proof we are so sure that Deepika too is going to be a Sabyasachi bride.
