Fashion Faceoff: Disha Patani or Gigi Hadid, who wore the black keyhole neckline gown better?

The black gown worn by Disha Patani to her first Filmfare red carpet appearance is hard to forget. Apart from it being her choice for her red carpet debut,  the keyhole neckline of her gown was also instrumental in steering up so much (unnecessary) controversy. The outfit was a solid black sequined gown, which had a turtleneck, a broad keyhole neckline and a thigh-high slit.

The Dhoni actress paired this elegant and sexy number with her hair worn in a voluminous half up half down updo. She finished the look with nude shades of makeup. For footwear, she picked a pair of black strappy sandals. 

Also wearing the very same number was Gigi Hadid, who wore a quilted turtleneck black dress during the AMA presentation. She was seamlessly working everything - from the angular sleeves to the plunging keyhole neckline and the thigh-high centre slit.

A pair of ankle straps in black was her choice of footwear. She paired the look with nude shades of makeup, shimmery lips and golden eye shadow. Gigi accessorised the outfit with a pair of big hoops and wore her hair in an half-up-half-down updo. 

Considering the cut, style and look of the gowns is the same and Disha even styled the look in a similar way - with the same strappy shoes and half-up-half-down hairdo. We cannot help but wonder did Disha Patani copy Gigi Hadid's look end to end? Since the AMA's took place in November 2016 and Filmfare was held in January 2017.
