Yay or Nay : Kangana Ranaut in Neeta Lulla, Raw Mango and Alena Akhmadullina

Kangana Ranaut launched the official trailer of Manikarnika yesterday at an event in Mumbai. She also gave us two subsequent changes during the day and we are here to give you a low down on all the three looks.

She attended the trailer launch wearing a traditional, hand woven saree by Neeta Lulla, as a nod to her character in the film. The saree was styled with gold temple jewellery and hair worn in a bun, decorated with roses.

Post the trailer launch, she did a round of interviews for the promotions of the film. Her second look for the day was a dusty blue organza saree by Raw Mango, which was paired with a sheer, long sleeve blouse. The floral motif embroidered saree was styled with a pearl necklace and hair tied back in a bun.

Later in the night, she came to wish her co-star Ankita Lokhande on her birthday. Giving us a 180° from her morning looks, she wore a sheer grey dress from Alena Akhmadullina's Fall 2018 collection. The sheer dress was worn over nude basics and cinched at the waist with a feathered detail belt.
As much as I love the idea of a sheer dress, the dress did nothing for her. It neither looked sexy, nor chic. Also, the shoes! Where is her signature nude pumps when you need them?
