Deepika Padukone was also in attendance at the Met Gala this year, where the theme for the night was 'Heavenly Bodies : Fashiion and the Catholic Imagination'.
The gorgeous actress was one of the many celebrities who were dressed by designer Prabal Gurung. She wore a red custom made gown, which featured a thigh high slit, a floor sweeping train and an architectural drape detail on the top.
She styled her look with a red lip, matching sandals and dangling diamond earrings.
Met Gala is all about taking risks and having fun with the theme, but this is second year in a row that Deepika seemed to have missed the memo. While mostly everyone just went out there with their looks, Deepika played too safe. Wish she had saved this look for Cannes and given us something more Met Gala worthy.
