Trend Alert: Long line shirts peeping through your mini skirts is the new way to layer

Comes fall season and fashionistas find new and intuitive ways of layering. The basic, structured and solid shirt layered under a pullover or a sweater, with the hem and collar popping through, has now become a classic trend that makes a come back every fall season. This time around the latest layering trend is in your bottom wear. Wearing a long line shirt (mostly white) under your mini skirt (mostly denim and leather) is the new way to go this season. To top this look up, team it up with a pair of knee-high boots to make it even chicer and fall appropriate. If you are from a tropical location (hint: me), simply skip the boots and opt for a pair of strappy heels. 

Everyone from Rihanna, Olivia Culpo to Shraddha Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and our favourite fashion bloggers have been seen wearing this trend. 

While Shraddha Kapoor wore a sheer Manish Malhotra dress layered over a white shirt, she was also seen embracing the trend with a printed shirt worn under a frayed hem denim skirt, a structured blue shirt with a tiny denim skirt was also her pick. Parineeti too wore a sheer dress over a white shirt dress. While Rihanna wore a striped shirt with her denim skirt that had the hem of the shirt peeping through, Olivia Culpo wore her white shirt with a leather skirt.
