Sridevi is not just the Queen of Bollywood but also the Queen of Fashion and here’s proof:
Sridevi is a glistening star of the 90’s whose looks have often gone viral. From her western looks to indian classics like lehengas, anarkalis and sarees, the legendary actress seems to have won our hearts with every look!
Sarees have always had a special place in the Actress’s wardrobe and on-screen appearances, be it her iconic Mr India blue chiffon saree look in the sensual song Kaate Nahin Kat Te or her comeback Manish Malhotra saree on English Vinglish.
Today we celebrate the iconic force that was sridevi with these saree looks that will make you want to ditch that lehenga and wear an elegant saree for your next big event!
For the promotions of Mom, Sridevi wore this Sabyasachi Spring Couture saree which was equal parts elegant and subtly glam! She rounded the look with a classic red lip and an elaborate choker.

Sridevi Wore this Swati and Sunaina Tran sari in typical Bengali fashion with a big red bindi complimenting her heavy yet crisp choice of jewellery and yet again, a classic deep red lip.

After Bengali Sridevi turned to the typical Maharashtrian Navwari saree in the brightest colours of blue and orange from the collection of Madhurya. In festive Marathi style she also paired a Nath from Waman hari Pethe and the Chand Bindi with Gajra in her hair. We also love the stacked bangles and necklace look!

No Sridevi style-file is complete without a Manish Malhotra look. Sridevi wore a breezy floral Manish Malhotra Saree along with Shringaar- The Ethnic Story.

Sridevi wore a beaded color-block pastel-hued saree by Tarun Tahiliani at IFFI, that she accessorised with diamond jewellery from Begani Jewels. Hair tied up in a bun and minimal makeup rounded her look out.

The gorgeous Sridevi looked lovely in this mint and emerald green-hued silk saree by Sabyasachi. Her traditional look was styled with a heavy neckpiece and earrings with hair tied up in a braided bun and gajra.

Her constant favourite: Manish Malhotra, designed this bright blue saree with Pashmina Velvet and bold embroidery for Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding reception. Sridevi did not go dubtle on jewellery as she stacked a heavy choker necklace but she did wear a subtle nude lip and delicate bangles.

Beyond silks and velvets, Sridevi also experimented with Organza sarees, especially this beautiful dull silver piece with delicate embroidery. A look she kept minimal and elegant.

This stripe saree was beyond expected as Sridevi was usually spotted in subtle colours and designs. This saree showed her inner modern fashion goddess who was resonating comfort, delicate embroidery and contemporary designs.

Vision in White, what’s not to love about an all white outfit, specially when it’s so elegantly paired with silver jewellery. The Mom actress wore a sheer blouse, a statement necklace, some bangles and an ornate silver clutch purse to complete her look. We love the middle parted hair and pink lip look!
